Viridian Stone can be fitted to the majority of structurally sound wall surfaces including concrete, brick, block, timber frame, open stud and metal.
Fast and easy installation is achieved by using Type N Mortar to fix each piece of Viridian Stone to the wall surface.
Estimating the correct quantity of Viridian Stone to order
For your peace of mind, we recommend you supply us a copy of the plans for your project and we will work out the quantity of materials required. This service is free of charge.
However should you prefer, you can calculate the area of Viridian Stone required by following the guidelines below:
- Measure the height of the wall and multiply by the length to arrive at the area in square metres of FLAT stone needed.
- Subtract the area in sq metres of any doors or windows in the application area
- Measure the linear number of metres of the outside corners to determine the amount of corner pieces required.
- One linear metre of corner stones covers approximately 0.3 sq metres of the flat area, therefore subtract the amount of corner stones (in sq metres) from the number of sq metres of flat stone required.
- Allow some extra stones for cutting and trimming, perhaps 2 to 5%
