How is Viridian Stone made?
To achieve a stone product that looks natural not only in form and texture but also in colour with a rich variety of tones and shades, the manufacturing process begins by carefully selecting a number of ingredients including aggregates, natural pigments and cement in the correct proportion.
The correct mix is then cast in moulds taken from the original quarried stone with the pigment applied by hand to ensure the colour is absorbed throughout the stone as it cures, thereby maintaining the detailed replication throughout the life of the stone.
